Another double

Alexandre Richer has become the third player during the 2016 European Footgolf Tour, who has won more than one tournament. After winning the French Open, Richer celebrated his second victory in Switzerland.

With a breathtaking landscape next to Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva, Golf du Signal de Bougy hosted the 9th stage of the EFT. The Swiss Footgolf Trophy was unique. The competitors played  18 holes on Saturday and Sunday, but then the best twenty players decided the final positions on another 9 holes.

Alexandre Richer (FRA) won the tournament scoring 23 under par. The Frenchman joined Jim Kuipers and Tomas Bartko, having won at least two stages during this season. Another Frenchman, Antonio Balestra finished second behind his teammate by only one kick (-22). After an injury, Ben Clarke (UK) returned with a bronze medal.

France won the gold medal in the team competition also beating the United Kingdom and Italy.

Because of earning 250 points in Switzerland, Richer is the new leader of the EFT after nine stages. Check the results and standings below:
