The target is so close
Ben Clarke can be the number one in Europe and in the world also being in a promising position on the world ranking list (1st) and at the 2017 European Footgolf Tour (4th) so close to the end of the season. After winning the Major in Japan, he is coming to Portugal in good form.
“The aim was to be the best in the world and win the EFT this year. It’s not an easy target to achieve especially with the quality of players across Europe and the world but I’d rather dream high than low.” – said Ben Clarke about the plans created at the beginning of the year.
“I just need to perform as well as I can and hope that’s enough to see me achieve my targets. Wilkes is certainly the man to catch as he leads the way! He’s had a great season domestically and on the EFT already, but how the last event is, it’s still up for grabs for anyone.”
Clarke believes, his strongest skill is the consistency.
“I can usually put together good multiple rounds, they may not always be good enough to win but leaves me in the mix with a chance to earn good points. I’ve struggled for winning form back in the UK this season but I’m coming to the EFT final on the back off a win at the Japan Open, so I’m feeling a lot better about my game at the moment, hopefully I can take that form with me to Portugal.”
