Jamie Cullum won the French Grand Slam stage

  • Simoes, Cullum and Jacot

France was hosting the second European major last weekend. After three days, Jamie Cullum was the happiest man winning the third stage of the European Footgolf Grand Slam.

Almost 200 players have been played on the Platini and Woods course of the Golf Parc Robert Hersant near to Paris, France in the third major and third stage of the European Footgolf Grand Slam of the year. After playing on both courses on Friday and Saturday, Lionel Jacot and Guido Voorendt were the leaders with the score of -14. Frederic Hedin, Jamie Cullum (both with -13) and the 2017 champion, Nicolas Cousin (-12) joined them for the final flight. After the round on Sunday, Cullum (UK) finished with -21, which was two kicks better then Frederic Simoes’ (SUI) -19, and won the Footgolf French Open. Guido Voorendt (NED) and Lionel Jacot (SUI) tied on the third place (-18). The Dutch kicked his ball into the lake, which was more than enough for the Swiss to reach the podium.
