After several months having not played FootGolf, Paul Oliver
finished second on the 2nd stage of the Tour. He finished only one shot away from the winner in the Irish Open, but was strong enough to secure second place in the play off against Dutchman Bjorn Bulk.
The second stage of the 2017 European Footgolf Tour held in Ireland, had almost half of the field playing under par. Cathal Jenkinson finished first, shooting a great -11 on the second day to finish on -14. Paul Oliver
from the UK came second after beating Dutchman Bjorn Bulk in a play off. Both players finished just one shot behind the champion on -13.
The second stage of the Tour ended with a playoff between two British players, Karl May and Paul Oliver
. Karl May was better by one shot on the 39th hole. Paul Oliver
was disappointed to lose the playoff, but Ireland was his fifth international event in a row, where he has finished in the top four.
All the medals went to the UK at the second stage of this year’s European Footgolf Tour in Ireland. Clinton Moore finished third, while Karl May and Paul Oliver
had to battle for the first place. May won the playoff by one shot.
Ben Clarke won his second tournament in a row, he was crowned in Croatia and now Hungary too. After having three players in the first four place at the 13th stage of the European Footgolf Trophy Tour (EFTT), UK won the overall team competition in 2015.
